Tori MathesTori Mathes graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a double minor in Chemistry and Neuroscience. During her college years, she independently studied to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and earned her designation as a certified personal trainer (CPT) from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). In addition, she worked as a personal trainer at the student recreation center her senior year, with clientele ranging from students to faculty and staff.


Tori was involved in many extra curricular activities throughout college such as being a cheerleader for UNCW’s basketball team, as well as spending two years hands on studying neurobiology and using advanced techniques, under a well renowned professor. Post graduation, Tori began work for Winston Salem Personal Training, while being a serving as a nursing assistant as well. Tori has the long-term goal of pursuing advanced studies as a physician’s assistant, and ultimately working in the emergency room.
